Jamie's
Birthday Hippie Bash!
These pics where taken recently at Jamie
Olivers B'day Party, where the theme was late
60's back to Woodstock!, so as you can see
the hippy costumes came out to play! The night
was not just to celebrate Jamies B'day, but to also
try the food of his 3 best up and coming chefs.
The 3 of them have spent the last few months
competing against each other and the winner will
get their own pub to run in Essex.
Look out for the new
tv programme being aired later in the year about
their exploits. So as you can guess we ate lots
of great food at the party!
God we did look silly!!!

Jon's
Epic Cycle Ride from Cambridge to the Med!
Well!! I did it and I'm back to tell the tale. Apart
from a skin graft on my rear-end I am in good shape.
It was (excuse the pun) a true 'roller coaster ride',
extremely enjoyable, however very hard work. 8 - 9 hours
a day, averaging 70 miles for two weeks. We had highs
and lows but the one thing that was in inspiration to
me and drove me on was all the support and extremely
generous sponsorship you all very kindly pledged. I expected
to raise a few hundred pounds, but to my complete surprise
I personally raised approx. £4,500. My three colleagues
who joined me on the ride, collectively have raised approx
£10,000 for the Arthur Rank Adult Hospice.
Thank you all very much for your support, it is very
much appreciated.

She
can hold her head up high, thanks to Jon - April
2004
Jon Chapman's sensitive wig service has boosted
the confidence of a Cambridge woman suffering from breast
cancer. Following chemotherapy which resulted in subsequent
hair loss she was introduced to Jon's unique service.
After trying on lots of wigs a style and colour was decided
and Shelagh van Heerden was delighted with the result,
saying "I honestly don't know what I would have done
without his help and encouragement. I feel confident,
attractive, feminine and complete."
